## Modular Rigging Engineering: Aerospace Aluminium and HawkLock Quick-Release

Modern mirrorless cameras and cinema bodies pack extraordinary imaging power into compact chassis, but lack the physical mounting points, heat dissipation, and ergonomic stability required for long production days. Sourcing for **SmallRig Camera Cage Deals** provides tailored structural exoskeletons engineered with exacting technical specifications:

- **Aerospace-Grade 6061-T6 Aluminium:** Each cage is CNC precision-machined from single aluminium billets, providing high-tensile structural rigidity while keeping total cage weight under 220 grams.

- **HawkLock Quick-Release System:** Patented self-locking roll-pin mechanism enables single-push slide-in locking and one-button instant release across top handles, monitor mounts, and side grips.

- **Universal Mounting Standardisation:** Equipped with dozens of anti-twist 1/4″-20 screw threads, 3/8″-16 ARRI locating holes, integrated NATO rails, and cold shoe receivers for flash transmitters and shotgun microphones.

- **Integrated Magnetic Tooling:** The baseplate houses a magnetic dual-head flathead screwdriver and hex Allen key, ensuring on-set balance adjustments and plate swaps never require searching for loose tools.

- **Full Interface Accessibility:** Custom cut-outs maintain unhindered access to battery chambers, dual card slots, articulated flip-out screens, and thermal HDMI/USB-C cable clamp ports.

## Core Filmmaking Ecosystems: Camera Cages, Matte Boxes and Follow Focus

Whether rigging a full cinema camera setup for documentary field work or configuring an ultralight handheld gimbal rig for commercial weddings, SmallRig delivers complete end-to-end accessory ecosystems. Applying a **SmallRig Voucher Code** at checkout provides direct access to these essential production suites:

- **Wireless and Manual Follow Focus Units:** Precision mechanical gear-driven follow focus wheels and the MagicFIZ wireless electronic lens control system offering zero-backlash optical pull accuracy.

- **Articulating Arms and Monitor Mounts:** Heavy-duty ball-head magic arms and 360-degree swivel monitor brackets engineered to support 5-inch to 7-inch director monitors without slipping under payload.

- **Heavy-Duty Carbon Fibre Tripods:** Multi-section video tripods with fluid damping bowl heads capable of supporting up to 8kg payloads while folding down compactly for travel.

## Professional Studio Hardware: RC Series COB Lighting and V-Mount Power

Beyond mechanical camera armour, SmallRig has rapidly established itself as a major innovator in continuous studio illumination and high-capacity on-set power distribution. The flagship SmallRig RC series (including the RC 120D, RC 220B, RC 350D, and RC 450 daylight and bi-colour COB LED fixtures) delivers ultra-accurate colour rendering with CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+ scores, ensuring skin tones remain natural during studio interviews and narrative scenes.

To eliminate battery anxiety during marathon shooting sessions, SmallRig manufactures smart mini V-mount battery plates and lightweight VB series lithium-ion power packs. Equipped with bi-directional 100W USB-C PD fast charging, D-Tap outputs, and real-time OLED battery metric screens, these units can simultaneously power camera sensors, field monitors, and wireless video transmitters from a single compact brick.
