We operate the website https://budgetfitter.uk (the “Site”), our native mobile applications for iOS and Android (the “App”), our privacy-first browser extension for Chromium-based browsers (the “Extension”), our weekly curated newsletter (“The Fitter Newsletter”), our interactive comparison utilities and quizzes (“FitterTools”), our independent editorial reviews (“The Savings Review”), our conversational deal search engine (“AI Ally” / “AI Mode”), our member accounts and dashboards, as well as all associated software, APIs, and digital routing services that refer or link to these terms (collectively, the “Services”).

BudgetFitter is an independent UK savings, commercial intelligence, and perks platform built to help people, digital builders, software creators, remote professionals, and discerning consumers eliminate the “Lazy Tax” — the premium paid by default on software tool stacks, cloud hosting tiers, domain renewals, broadband contracts, payment rails, cross-border travel, and everyday lifestyle essentials because the best deal was buried, the promo code had expired, or the free reward went unclaimed.

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and FozDigital LTD, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing or using any part of the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

We will provide you with reasonable notice of any material changes to these Legal Terms by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document, and where appropriate, via on-site banners, in-app notices, or direct electronic communication. The modified Legal Terms will become effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to use the Services after the effective date of any revisions, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.

The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to register for an account or participate in the Ally Rewards programme.

  • The Browser Extension (Chromium): A privacy-first, Manifest V3 companion that alerts you to verified codes during checkout. The Extension operates passively, collects zero personal browsing history, and never injects rogue scripts or hijacks affiliate tracking.
  • The Fitter Newsletter: Curated weekly dispatches delivering hand-verified deal drops and exclusive vouchers directly to your inbox.
  • AI Mode & AI Ally: Natural-language conversational deal discovery powered by our proprietary Ally Intelligence engine, which evaluates deal health, pricing validity, and affiliate link status continuously.
  • The Savings Review: Independent editorial reviews, brand intelligence breakdowns, and buying guides authored by our editorial strategists.
  • FitterTools & Quizzes: Impartial interactive comparison utilities (broadband switches, travel eSIMs, software stacks).
  • Ally Rewards: A performance-shared loyalty programme that rewards users with instant digital gift cards for completing verified merchant missions.

The information provided through the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation, or which would subject us to any local regulatory registration requirement. Users accessing the Services from outside the United Kingdom do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & PROPRIETARY DATA

Our Intellectual Property

We are the owner or lawful licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all software source code, database architectures, APIs, algorithms, BFS scoring methodologies, graphic designs, UI components, typography, layout templates, audio, video, text, photographs, curated deal descriptions, factsheets, brand intelligence dossiers, and editorial reviews (collectively, the “Content”), as well as our trademarks, service marks, and logos (the “Marks”).

Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright, trademark, and database protection laws in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, and internationally under applicable treaties. The Content and Marks are provided through the Services strictly “AS IS” for your personal, non-commercial informational use in accordance with these Legal Terms.

Your Limited Licence to Use the Services

Subject to your strict compliance with these Legal Terms, including the “PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES & ANTI-SCRAPING CLAUSE” below, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, personal licence to:

  • Access and use the Services solely for your personal, non-commercial savings and shopping research.
  • Download and install our native Mobile Application and Browser Extension on personal devices owned or controlled by you.
  • View, print, or download a reasonable portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your individual, non-commercial use.

Except as expressly authorised in this section, no part of the Services, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, sublicenced, reverse engineered, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever without our prior express written consent.

Submissions and Feedback

By communicating any questions, suggestions, feedback, bug reports, feature concepts, or ideas regarding the Services (“Submissions”) to us, you agree that such Submissions become our sole property. We shall possess exclusive ownership of all rights, including all intellectual property rights, and shall be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of these Submissions for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgement, credit, or financial compensation to you.

3. USER REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

  1. All registration and profile information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete.
  2. You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update registration details as necessary.
  3. You have the legal capacity to enter into these Legal Terms and agree to comply with them.
  4. You are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, and you are at least 18 years of age.
  5. You will not access the Services through automated, scripted, or non-human means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or automated browser agents).
  6. You will not use the Services for any unlawful, unauthorised, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose.
  7. Your use of the Services complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  8. You are not located in a country subject to a UK, UN, EU, or US government embargo, nor are you listed on any UK or international sanctions or denied-parties list.
  9. Ally Rewards Verification Truthfulness: Because BudgetFitter disburses real digital gift card rewards through the Ally Rewards programme, you strictly warrant that all personal data, transaction receipts, invoice numbers, and proof of purchase documents you provide are genuine, unaltered, and belong exclusively to transactions you completed. Providing falsified, altered, or fraudulent documentation constitutes a material breach of these Terms, resulting in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all pending rewards, and potential referral to relevant law enforcement and anti-fraud authorities.

4. USER REGISTRATION & AUTHENTICATION

You can browse our public deal directories, search brand factsheets, and access discount codes without registering an account. However, creating a BudgetFitter account is required to follow brands in your Deal Feed, receive push notifications, manage custom alerts, and participate in the Ally Rewards programme.

Our authentication and user state management are synchronized across our Website and Mobile Applications via secure Firebase Authentication infrastructure. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide a valid, accessible individual email address.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and authentication tokens.
  • Accept sole responsibility for all activities occurring under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] upon discovering any unauthorised access or security breach affecting your account.
  • Never transfer, sell, assign, or share your account credentials with any third party.
  • Maintain only one active individual account per person. Creating duplicate or multi-tenant accounts to bypass limits or exploit promotions is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or reclaim any account, username, or display name if we determine, in our sole discretion, that it is fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or infringes upon third-party rights.

5. ACCOUNT USAGE, FREE ACCESS & FAIR USE POLICY

100% Free Core Platform

BudgetFitter operates as a 100% free-to-use consumer and professional intelligence platform. We do not require credit card details to browse, register, follow brands, or claim standard discount codes. Our platform operations, human verification team, server infrastructure, and Ally Rewards are funded entirely through performance-based affiliate partnerships with featured merchants, as detailed in our Affiliate Revenue Disclosure.

Fair Use & Non-Commercial Personal/Team Use

Your access to BudgetFitter is provided strictly for legitimate savings discovery and procurement research. You agree not to:

  • Use BudgetFitter to systematically source inventory or bulk coupons for commercial reselling, voucher syndication, or dropshipping arbitrage.
  • Resell, broker, or sublicence exclusive BudgetFitter discount codes, referral links, or Ally Rewards gift card claims.
  • Generate excessive or unnatural server loads via automated polling, high-frequency requests, or script-driven interactions that exceed standard personal browsing patterns.

6. ACCOUNT DORMANCY, INACTIVITY & DATA PRUNING

To ensure system hygiene and comply with statutory UK GDPR data minimization requirements, accounts that exhibit zero login or interactive activity for a continuous period of eighteen (18) consecutive months may be designated as dormant. BudgetFitter reserves the right to archive or permanently delete dormant accounts and associated historical preferences after providing advance electronic notice to the registered email address. Unredeemed or unverified pending mission claims on dormant accounts shall expire upon account deletion.

7. BUDGETFITTER SCORE (BFS) & EDITORIAL INTEGRITY

The BudgetFitter Score (BFS) is our independent, unbought brand evaluation metric displayed across merchant profiles on our Website and Mobile App. The BFS evaluates merchant trustworthiness, pricing transparency, subscription renewal terms, discount quality, and historical checkout reliability.

Editorial Autonomy & Public Interest Defense: The BFS cannot be bought, sponsored, negotiated, or influenced by commercial advertisers. Brands cannot pay for higher ratings or positive scores. In accordance with the UK Defamation Act 2013 (Section 3: Honest Opinion and Section 4: Public Interest), all BFS ratings, merchant risk breakdowns, pro-tips, and factsheet dossiers represent genuine, unbought editorial opinions based on verified empirical audits of live merchant checkout processes and published terms of service. We publish these assessments in good faith to inform consumers and advance market transparency.

Editorial Assessment Disclaimer: The BudgetFitter Score represents an independent consumer watchdog editorial assessment. The BFS does NOT constitute financial advice, credit brokerage, insurance advice, or a formal warranty of merchant solvency, product quality, or commercial performance. You remain solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any commercial contract or completing a purchase with any featured merchant.

8. ALLY REWARDS PROGRAMME POLICY

Programme Overview: Instant Digital Gift Cards

Ally Rewards re-imagines traditional cashback as instant digital gift cards. Rather than locking percentages in a virtual wallet behind arbitrary £10–£25 payout thresholds or delayed banking withdrawals, Ally Rewards treats qualifying merchant engagements as standalone missions. Upon completing and verifying a mission, users receive the full reward value as an instant digital gift card redeemable across 100+ global brands (such as Amazon, Tesco, Apple, Uber, and others).

Mission Types & Qualification Criteria

Each Ally Rewards campaign specifies its required mission type and qualifying terms:

  • Purchase Missions: Completing a valid, unreturned transaction of qualifying goods or services meeting minimum spend thresholds.
  • Registration & Sign-Up Missions: Creating and verifying a genuine new customer account on the partner platform.
  • Quote & Application Missions: Completing a bona fide application or insurance/utility quote.
  • Free Trial Missions: Activating a genuine trial of a software or subscription service.

Geographic Availability & Payout Scope

The Ally Rewards programme is currently operational for users residing in the United Kingdom (UK), with select pilot campaigns running in limited beta for international jurisdictions. Gift cards are issued in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) unless a specific campaign explicitly denotes an alternative regional currency.

Verification, Tracking & Clean-Room Protocol

  1. Tracking Initiation: To ensure proper attribution, you must click the official “Activate Reward” or tracking button on BudgetFitter and complete the mission within the same continuous browsing session.
  2. Clean-Room Protocol: Running conflicting third-party coupon browser extensions during an active mission may overwrite affiliate tracking cookies and break attribution. To protect your reward eligibility, we recommend using a clean browsing tab or disabling competing coupon injectors while completing a mission.
  3. Proof Submission: Following completion of the mission, you may be required to submit your proof of purchase (such as order confirmation screenshot, invoice number, or account email) via our secure claim portal.
  4. Merchant Validation Window: Partner merchants independently validate that the transaction was completed, not returned, cancelled, or refunded. Validation typically takes between 30 and 90 days, aligning with statutory consumer return and cooling-off windows.
  5. Direct Gift Card Delivery: Once the merchant confirms attribution and validates the transaction, we disburse your digital gift card link directly to your verified email address or your member dashboard.

Anti-Fraud, Churning & Clawback Rules

We strictly prohibit submitting forged or third-party order receipts, purchasing items with the intent of immediately returning them after claiming rewards (“churning”), or farming rewards through multiple accounts. If a merchant subsequently cancels, refunds, or reverses commission for a transaction, we reserve the right to void the corresponding reward claim, revoke unredeemed gift cards, or terminate the associated BudgetFitter account.

9. CONTINGENT REWARDS & ZERO DIRECT DEBT LIABILITY

REWARD ELIGIBILITY IS STRICTLY CONTINGENT UPON THIRD-PARTY MERCHANT VALIDATION AND COMMISSION SETTLEMENT. Ally Rewards is funded entirely by sharing affiliate commissions actually received by BudgetFitter from partner retailers and affiliate networks.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • BudgetFitter does not assume direct debt, banking, or contractual cash liability to pay rewards out of our own funds if a merchant or affiliate network fails to track, rejects, reverses, or withholds commission for any reason.
  • Tracking dropouts resulting from ad-blockers, anti-tracking browser configurations, VPNs, cookie clearing, or conflicting third-party coupon extensions (such as third-party coupon injectors, automated discount toolbars, or competing shopping extensions) are beyond BudgetFitter’s control. If a merchant records zero attribution, no gift card reward will be issued.
  • BudgetFitter acts solely as a promotional intermediary and reward distributor, not a financial debtor.

10. REWARD FORFEITURE UPON TERMINATION FOR CAUSE

In the event that your BudgetFitter account is suspended or terminated for cause — including, without limitation, for submitting fraudulent receipts, engaging in automated scraping, operating multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or violating any provision of these Legal Terms — all pending mission verifications, unredeemed reward claims, and promotional perks shall be immediately and permanently forfeited with zero compensation. BudgetFitter shall bear no liability for forfeited claims resulting from breaches of these Terms.

11. AI ALLY, AI MODE, SYNTHETIC MEDIA & AUTOMATED ANALYSIS DISCLAIMER

BudgetFitter utilises artificial intelligence, natural language models, automated web crawlers, and algorithmic synthesis engines (including “AI Ally”, “AI Mode”, and “Ally Intelligence”) to assist users with deal discovery, summarise merchant terms, compare policy tiers, and generate illustrative conceptual media. These features are informational digital conveniences.

1. Generative Text, Algorithmic Overviews & Dynamic Summaries: You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Generative models and algorithmic summarisers process external signals and may occasionally produce approximate, incomplete, or outdated representations of merchant pricing, return periods, shipping thresholds, or contract terms.
  • Ally Intelligence summaries and AI Mode responses reflect an automated snapshot and do not constitute a binding quote, legal representation, or contractual endorsement from BudgetFitter or the featured merchant.
  • Mandatory Pre-Checkout Verification: You must independently review and verify final prices, voucher validity, and terms directly on the third-party merchantx27s official checkout page before completing any payment.
  • Non-Liability for Automated Outputs: FozDigital LTD disclaims all liability for purchasing choices, contract renewals, booking errors, or direct/indirect losses resulting from reliance on automated summaries or conversational outputs.

2. Synthetic Media & AI-Generated Visuals Disclosure: BudgetFitter may generate creative concept artwork, lifestyle backgrounds, and card media using generative AI imaging technologies. Such visuals are strictly illustrative concept art, are labelled with an “AI Generated Visual” indicator where applicable, and do not represent authentic physical inventory or official merchant product photography unless explicitly attributed.

3. Merchant Safe Harbor, Correction Notice & Expedited Review Procedure: BudgetFitter operates in good faith to provide objective, fair, and accurate commercial intelligence. If a brand owner, authorised merchant representative, or intellectual property holder believes that any AI-generated summary, algorithmic description, or synthetic visual mischaracterises their product, infringes on a proprietary trademark, or presents inaccurate terms:

  • Notice & Takedown Channel: Please submit an expedited correction request directly to our editorial and compliance team at [email protected] (cc: [email protected]) detailing the target URL, the specific text or visual in question, and verified factual corrections.
  • Expedited Remediation: Upon receiving verified notice, BudgetFitter will review, correct, regenerate, or remove the disputed content within forty-eight (48) to seventy-two (72) business hours.
  • Safe Harbor: Automated AI text generation and algorithmic synthesis are provided without malice under informational fair use. Merchants agree to utilise this direct correction procedure prior to initiating any formal legal or regulatory action.

12. FITTERTOOLS, QUIZZES & COMPARISON UTILITIES

BudgetFitter publishes interactive quizzes, broadband comparison selectors, travel eSIM calculators, and software stack evaluation tools (“FitterTools”).

All FitterTools results, recommendations, and cost projections are generated algorithmically based on the inputs you provide and general market benchmarks. They are provided solely for general educational and illustrative convenience. FitterTools do not constitute bespoke telecommunications, technical, legal, or financial consultancy. Providers frequently alter regional coverage, installation fees, and contract terms without notice; you must verify complete technical and contract details directly with the provider before ordering.

13. DEAL VOLATILITY, FLASH OFFERS & PUSH ALERTS

The BudgetFitter Mobile Application provides optional, user-configured push notification alerts to inform you of time-sensitive deal drops, flash promotions, verified price cuts on brands you follow in your Deal Feed, and Ally Rewards mission confirmations.

Strict Opt-In & User Control: Push notifications are delivered strictly on a voluntary, consent-based opt-in basis. You have the permanent right to manage, customize, pause, or completely deactivate push notifications at any time directly through the in-app notification preference centre (Account > Notification Settings) or via your device operating system settings (iOS: Settings > BudgetFitter > Notifications; Android: Settings > Apps > BudgetFitter > Notifications). Upon deactivation, your device push token is immediately removed from active dispatch queues.

Push Notification Timing & Stock Volatility: Third-party promotional campaigns, voucher codes, and limited-quantity flash drops are inherently volatile. Retailers control their own inventory and may expire or modify discount codes without notice. Push notifications and Deal Feed alerts are distributed on a best-effort basis. Network latency, device operating system power-saving modes, or Apple APNs / Google FCM dispatch queues may delay notification delivery. BudgetFitter does not guarantee that any deal featured in a push notification or email alert will remain active or in stock by the time you access the merchant site.

14. OUTCLICK ROUTING, DEEP-LINKING & DESTINATION SERVERS

When you click an offer, deal card, or affiliate link on BudgetFitter, our system dynamically routes your browser through an automated tracking intermediary (e.g. /go/{id}/) to connect you to the target merchant’s storefront. You acknowledge that BudgetFitter operates strictly as a technological routing conduit. 16. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES & ANTI-SCRAPING CLAUSE

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. As a user of the Services, you strictly agree not to:

Automated Scraping & Data Extraction: Systematically retrieve, harvest, scrape, index, or extract data, discount codes, merchant factsheets, BFS scores, editorial copy, or user reviews from the Services to compile or populate any database, directory, competitor site, or AI training corpus without our prior express written permission.

Liquidated Damages for Data Scraping: You acknowledge that our proprietary database of human-verified deals, BFS intelligence, and curated merchant profiles represents substantial financial, technological, and editorial investment. If you engage in unauthorized automated scraping or data harvesting in violation of these Terms, you agree to pay liquidated damages of £100 per record extracted or £5,000 per day of active violation (whichever is greater). You agree this figure is a genuine pre-estimate of our operational and commercial damages, not a penalty.
  3. Security Circumvention: Circumvent, disable, decrypt, tamper with, or interfere with security features, rate-limiting thresholds, WAF configurations, API authentication tokens, or digital rights management protocols protecting the Services.
  4. Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, or private APIs of our Website, Mobile App, Browser Extension, or AI Ally engine, except where expressly permitted by applicable UK law.
  5. Abusive API Usage: Flood our public or internal API endpoints with automated requests exceeding reasonable individual usage limits, causing server degradation or latency.
  6. Impersonation & False Identity: Impersonate another person, user, employee, or brand representative, or use another individual’s credentials without authorization.
  7. Harassment & Interference: Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse our staff, editorial strategists, support agents, or other platform users.
  8. Affiliate Link Hijacking & Ad Bidding: Bidding on “BudgetFitter” trademarks or branded keywords in search engine marketing (PPC), or distributing BudgetFitter referral URLs via unsolicited mass email (SPAM), malware, or unauthorized iframe injection.
  9. Interference with Merchant Attribution: Attempting to manipulate tracking headers, inject rogue cookie payloads, or circumvent our performance attribution mechanisms.

17. PLATFORM SECURITY & COMPUTER MISUSE ACT COMPLIANCE

Any attempt to probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or breach the security or authentication measures of the Services without prior written authorization from FozDigital LTD constitutes a criminal offence under the UK Computer Misuse Act 1990 and related cybersecurity statutes. Security researchers discovering potential vulnerabilities must report them responsibly and confidentially to [email protected] without public disclosure until a fix is deployed.

18. USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS & DEAL FEEDBACK

The Services may invite you to submit reviews, comments, ratings, feedback, support tickets, or deal accuracy reports (“Contributions”). Any Contribution you submit must adhere strictly to UK consumer protection standards and our community guidelines.

By posting Contributions, you represent and warrant that:

You retain full copyright and ownership of your individual Contributions. We do not claim ownership of user-submitted text or reviews. You acknowledge that BudgetFitter acts solely as a passive hosting conduit under UK law and is not liable for user-generated statements, reviews, or opinions posted within public areas of the Services.

20. GUIDELINES FOR REVIEWS & ANTI-SABOTAGE RULES

When posting reviews or deal feedback on BudgetFitter:

25. AFFILIATE REVENUE DISCLOSURE & ADVERTISER RELATIONSHIPS

The seat of arbitration shall be London, United Kingdom. The language of arbitration shall be English, and the tribunal shall consist of a single sole arbitrator.

Although we perform regular automated backups of platform data, you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using the Services.

41. MOBILE APPLICATION, IN-APP WEBVIEWS & EXTENSION LICENCE

Application Licence Grant

If you access our Services via our native Mobile Applications (iOS / Android) or our Chromium Browser Extension, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to install and execute the application on personal devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these Legal Terms.

In-App WebViews & Merchant Checkout Flow

When opening merchant links or claiming codes within our Mobile Application, browsing sessions may be handled via secure In-App Browser components (such as Apple SFSafariViewController or Android Custom Tabs) or handed off to your default device browser. Browser Extension Passive Compatibility

The Browser Extension is provided as a passive shopping convenience tool. We do not warrant that the Extension will be compatible with every merchant checkout interface or operating system. Featured merchants maintain the right to request suppression of their domain from extension displays, and extension operation remains subject to third-party website DOM configurations.

App Distributor Terms (Apple iOS & Google Android)

The following terms apply when you download our Mobile Application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (each an “App Distributor”):

  1. Scope of Licence: The licence granted to you is non-transferable and limited to using the application on a device running Apple iOS or Google Android, subject to the applicable usage rules in the App Distributor’s terms of service.
  2. Maintenance & Support: FozDigital LTD is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Mobile Application. You acknowledge that App Distributors have no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services.
  3. Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Google, and their respective subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Legal Terms regarding the mobile application licence, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, each App Distributor will have the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

42. MISCELLANEOUS & SEVERABILITY

These Legal Terms and any operating policies or notices published by us on the Services constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and FozDigital LTD. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision or part of a provision of these Legal Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part is deemed severable from these Legal Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
